I'm not an experienced redstone builder that uses names like "RS-NOR latch" and so on, but I like to "invent" all the components myself, which helps me understand how everything work. With this "method" I've created things like: 1. Writing machine, that lets you type in a character on a keyboard and the letter turns visible on a 420pixel screen. 2. Automatic farms, where you only need to plant the seeds, wait until they have grown, and then push a button to harvest them. All the crops are beeing led to a single point to pick them up. 3. Fully automated train station, where you use a button to choose destination (you can reset the chosen destination by pushing another button if you change your mind), You push a second button to get a cart, and then push a third button to start the cart. When you leave, the destination will be reset automatically.
