Why are you interested in joining this server?:
I want to get started in Minecraft computing. Recently, I've re-discovered the world of computing and why I wanted to learn more about it. I think Minecraft is a great way to break down and understand the logic behind real computers, without actually having to build one myself. There's just something special about clicking a button and seeing all the redstone come to life.
Current Redstone knowledge:
I'd say my knowledge in redstone is advanced. I can grasp redstone concepts and exploitations of game mechanics well enough to understand what's happening, but I've never had the will to build a large machine. Minecraft computing is a different story. In there, I'm a novice, I don't even understand how to build an XOR gate. Some other logic gates I can build, but I can only build one or two different versions of them. The most "niche" redstone concept I've used is a pufferfish proximity sensor. It uses the pufferfish growth mechanic, that when any mob is close to it it's blown up. In that state, the pufferfish can trigger a tripwire right over it. My most used redstone component is an observer t-flip-flop. It uses the fact that sticky pistons spit out a block if it only receives one tick of redstone.
Past Redstone Experience:
Currently, I know enough to change the way Minecraft is played, but I don't know enough to build a computer by myself. The most complex thing I have built was a 3x3 piston door, which isn't too complex, but it was a way to implement a compact double piston extender I saw recently. Most of my projects are very simple in Minecraft, simply because I haven't acquired the knowledge to build huge complex machines. Computers would be a great "leaping off point," so to speak, due to how wide of a range in complexity and style, whether its piston-less or compact or anything else.

What kind of creations would you like to build on this server?:
I want to start building computers in Minecraft, working my way from a simple adder to a full-blown computer, filled to the brim with redstone. I will probably build other miscellaneous machines, like flying machines or doorways.
