Why are you interested in joining this server?:
I would like to get better at doing redstone. I plan on going into an engineering field for a living, and redstone is a great tool for that purpose: it trains you to innovate with limited materials. I used to play on the Redstoner server, but they sadly closed down last year due to a lack of proper funding.
Current Redstone knowledge:
I am still somewhat of a novice at redstone, but I am on the more advanced end of that spectrum. As I currently stand, I have a decent understanding of how each of the redstone components work. If I want to do something with redstone, I can generally puzzle out a way to do it. I am still not any good at making my designs compact, though, so they tend to be more massive and clunky than is probably optimal.
Past Redstone Experience:
I haven't really invented anything, per se, but I do look at other people's contraptions and try to reverse-engineer a working version myself. The accomplishment I take the most pride in was the time when I watched Mumbo Jumbo's video on making a realistic elevator and puzzled out a solution myself. I don't remember how I did it, though, and I think I must have deleted the world when I purged all of my old worlds from my computer a month or two ago, so I don't have physical proof I can show you.

I don't really have a set plan for a specific type of machine in mind. I'll probably end up dabbling in a little of everything at some point. One thing I would like to figure out, though, is a stackable sevent segment display (so that I can make counters with multiple digits).
