Why are you interested in joining this server?:
I want to collaborate with redstoners and share my ideas of using redstone in builds as well as recieve tips. I make and come up with a lot of cool redsstone applications and want a server that both showcases the redstone and facilitates my growth as a redstoner. Other server may not have the redstone knowledge or may have distaste for redstone, or impose strict limits on redstone use.
Current Redstone knowledge:
I am currently at an intermediate level of redstone. I know the basics about pulse lengths and delay through objects like hoppers and pistons. I know my basic circuits t flip flops, rising edge pulse, falling edge pulse, and basic things you can make out of that like piston extenders. I still struggle in making builds compact with fancy circuits like the experts do.
Past Redstone Experience:
I have been a redstone instructor on a simple creative server before. I've made 3 by 3 doors and 3 by 3 trapdoors (without slime). The best thing I've ever made was a 3 high hipster door (without slime). my 3 high hipster door wasn't fancy in the circuitry the basic idea if i remember correctly was that the triggering buttons on both sides of the door went into a T flip flop as the activating mechanism. The closing sequence was simple and fast- all the pistons fired as the t flip flop was on. In the off state the t flip flop, a falling edge repeater lock circuit would emit a one tic pulse and I, in an uncompact fashion powered different area on the frame at different times to get the 3 high hipster to close. After all the block storage stuff is done and the door is closed the pistons & block storage would be setup so that when it is turned on it will immediately close.
