Why are you interested in joining this server?:
I currently moderate in another server: Edawg878 (an old, but running server), but the server is not solely for redstone. This server has people who know what they're doing, resulting in easy help, and knowledge. This server also has a large redstone loading distance, meaning I don't have to worry about making the computer into four chunks. This is huge for me.
Current Redstone knowledge:
I know how to make large scale displays, with buffers. I know how to make ROMS (Read only memory), encoders/decoders, and a few other things. You see, I'm just a standard computational redstoner. Though this is not redstone, it is related to it: I've built a python script that converts simple commands "drawone x4 y7," "gotoline 5," "clear" and other commands. It then converts the data to a 14 bit string (first three defines the mode [e.g draw], next five is a byte containing data, and same thing for another byte, and a bit to define true or false [e.g. set row4 col7 on] On top of that, I made a preview of the output including the screen, output wires (work in progress, in order to load and manage a rom easily), and other useful things. Anyways, I'm currently working on a computer that accepts code generated from my program, which can be loaded in the rom, or the ram
Past Redstone Experience:
I've made a painting computer, which uses a 20x10 pixel display (1 pixel is the standard four blocks), and includes a double dropper buffer. Instead of using levers, pressure plates, or buttons to paint, I used intersecting tripwires, and after a bit of redstone, I've managed to convert a coordinate into it's corresponding pixel. It works well!
About how often do you play Minecraft?:
> 15 hours per week
Anything else you'd like to mention? (Optional):
The server that I have my computer in is down, for now, so I cannot provide any pictures. As soon as the server is up, I can provide the pictures with screenshots.
Application status:
Approved
What kind of creations would you like to build on this server?:
First of all, I would like to move my current redstone computer into this server (hopefully with help from staff, if not I'll use litematica) and I'll continue on it from there.
