Why are you interested in joining this server?:
I'd like to join to speed up my learning of redstone usage, primarily for survival applications. I can't offer much knowledge but I'm humble and open to learning.
I've already spent a little time as a visitor and got along with people. I entered with the goal of fixing a machine I had built in survival Minecraft and I found the attitude I received to be non-condescending to my knowledge-level and only helpful.
A user called Caden introduced me to multiplexers and a goal I have now is to understand them better and I hope to eventually be able to make my own.
Current Redstone knowledge:
Previously I've only known torches, repeaters and normal circuits but I'm starting to learn how to use comparators for more advanced aspects to my machines.
For example I'm right now working on a minecart track shift system with 8 different routes and I'm trying to build a multiplexer to solve the input problem.
Past Redstone Experience:
All my previous experience comes from machines made in survival Minecraft. They've been mob grinders and minecart contraptions mainly. But they've all been very basic, involving mostly the oldest types of redstone block types.
Once or twice I've also built a hidden door with pistons.
About how often do you play Minecraft?:
6-10 hours per week
