Why are you interested in joining this server?:
I've been working for years with computational redstone, making CPUs, displays and the like. I come from a computational redstone background primarily since 2020, but seeing the variety of stuff on Styms made me interested to join and get inspired by some of the alternative and more diverse approach to redstone there.
Current Redstone knowledge:
I know how to wire redstone in a fairly compact and efficient way, utilising most of its quirks and features, although I have a lot to experiment with and discover still. I know how to build computer logic with it, create pipelined microprocessors that run code and ASICs like text displays. I'm currently working on a strange CPU called 'SPAGHET', which is a 6-block tall 4-bit CPU packing 44 unique instructions into its ISA and hopefully capability of complex programs despite its slow speed. I see a lot that will happen in the future of Computational redstone, perhaps recreations of real-life chips, advancements in processor technology (superscalar, out-of-order execution?), and even memory size is increasing by the years like it did in the 80's!
Past Redstone Experience:
I made pipelined redstone CPUs that can run code efficiently like simple games, one even running at a speed of up to 6 ticks per cycle. I've also recently collaborated with a member on ORE (LAM678) to make a compact flat-down 7-segment hex display using redstone dust as the shaped segments. I've improved my redstone building skills over the years by practice and reverse-engineering of other's builds, as well as some experimentation.
About how often do you play Minecraft?:
6-10 hours per day
Anything else you'd like to mention? (Optional):

What kind of creations would you like to build on this server?:
I'd like to go really unconventional in terms of my building. I'm enthusiastic about building and using redstone CPUs and I'd like to stretch the limits of what sorts of odd techniques and designs I can use to actually make machines that run programs. I also enjoy stuff like segmented displays and text displays, especially when they have an aesthetic look to them by using different materials.
