Why are you interested in joining this server?:
I wanna learn and make cool stuff like other people because Minecraft seems like a fun place to get started on building. also so i can impress people on bigger platforms and be supa dupa proud of myself for all the work i put into this and everything i did and what i can do (:
Current Redstone knowledge:
In the past, I’ve started learning redstone by messing around with simple builds, using Redstone Dust, Redstone Blocks, and Redstone Repeaters to figure out how power moves through a circuit. I tried using Redstone Observers and Redstone Comparators even though I didn’t fully understand them yet, mostly just to see how they react. I hooked up Redstone Lamps and Copper Bulbs so I could tell when something was working, and I used a Redstone Target to test basic activation. I experimented with Dispensers and a little TNT just to see what would happen, and I played with Minecarts rolling over Pressure Plates for basic triggers. I stored items in a Barrel, accidentally learned how Trap Chests work, and tested Skulk sensors to see how sound could activate redstone. Sometimes I even added a Bell so I’d know when something turned on, even if the build wasn’t very efficient or reliable yet.
Past Redstone Experience:
In my past experience with redstone, I’ve known how to use Redstone Lamps, Redstone Dust, and Pistons for a while, mostly for simple doors, lights, and basic traps. Those were the first things I felt comfortable experimenting with, even if my builds were a bit messy. More recently, I started figuring out how Redstone Observers work and began using them to detect changes, even though I’m still learning when they’re actually useful. I also just learned how to use Redstone Comparators, mainly by testing how they interact with containers and signals, and I’m slowly understanding how they differ from repeaters. Copper Bulbs became a fun way for me to see signal states clearly, while Redstone Repeaters helped me control signal timing and distance better than before. I also learned how a Redstone Torch can invert signals, which was confusing at first but made simple logic builds feel more interesting as I practiced with it.
