Past Redstone Experience: 
tried making a simple calculator with a redstone torch display before pistons and redstone lamps came around.

Pistons came out nearly 2 years ago... I'm very impressed that you would start makinging calculators that young, but I find it hard to believe. Also, please include some screenshots,of some of your work
