I like maths, programming, logic. Unfortunately human beings don't work this way. For everyone who knows the "Wire Mod" for the HL2 Mod "Garry's Mod", well I started with that, and build all kinds of stuff, auto aiming cannons, controllable cars, flying / hovering platforms, elevators. Redstone is basically the ugly and cheap variant of "Wire Mod". But, it fits the game Minecraft. And I love Minecraft. I want to join this server, because most servers don't permit redstone or lag if they do so. I like that not everyone is able to join this platform and has to run through this application. I'm NOT looking forward to build calculators / computers. It's just not for me. I think redstone is there for simplifying minecraft, just like industrial robots for the real world. What's the point in building a calculator in minecraft? So you can calculate when the next creeper is going to attack, that's the best I can image... Really, it's just show off. My goal is to make the everyday miners life easier, i.e. by grinding cows, chicken, pigs, in a KFC style fashion. A really big meal factory. I think this server offers tools which allow to build big, complex redstone circuits easily. That would be another reason to join. Also, I want to come up with new ideas, which never is easy. Some kind of dialogue with the redstone community would certainly trigger some neurons.
