Application 3407

In-game name:
aetherX
Age (Optional):
13
Why are you interested in joining this server?:
I've seen the builds on this server and I have to say, it's beyond me. There are computers and space-invaders and whatnot that blow my mind. This is selfish but, I want to learn about it. I NEED to learn about it. I might want to get a job in the future in electronics (although it's too early to tell) and redstone could really help me. The guys on the server have so far been really nice and keen on showing me their creations. And as for me, I'm very keen on showing MY creations to other people so they can tell me how to make it better, or compliment it, or criticise it! Redstone really interests me (going into more detail in the next section). I find a lot of fun in making circuits, etc.. Even more so than survival, building (I suck at it, a bit, kinda). I also love the challenge of redstone - that is why, while I like them a lot, I don't use redstone mods like RedPower, vertical redstone, or whatever. Redstone opens a challenge for me, but not so hard like a Vechz map. It opens a challenge for me, but not so easy like survival. It is elegant, but in a different way than building. Redstone is unique and awesome.
Past Redstone Experience:
I can understand most basic concepts of redstone but building them is a different thing. I've built a lot of things, but most of them have been for practical use - on survival, in a map. So, I know how to make a jeb door :D (lol). Oftentimes I'm messing on a server with my friends and I say "NOO NOOO what are you doing that's not compact!". I've recently seen Bluestone (a redstone computer). It amazed me, and I tried to make my own. And failed miserably. But I did manage to figure out how to make my very own selectable RAM array, and I was very proud of myself, and not really anymore since I've seen the amazing stuff build on this server. Mostly, my creations are modest small random things. The couple of "big" works essentially live in my head, unfinished, waiting for somewhere to be built - but building them alone is too hard. A couple of things I have thought of in my head is my very own serial/parallel system, a redstone communication device for when you want to send information on a server with a "chat radius", and a binary decoder (but then I discovered it's been done before). Also, a boat-based binary counter (although I later discovered it on Reddit, so I thought maybe I saw it somewhere and my brain tricked me into thinking I had built it). What I really like doing is MAKING THINGS COMPACT! As I had said, my friends really make not-very-compact things and every time I just freak out. My ultimate redstone... "dream" is to create a fully functional redstone computer - Although I've yet to figure out how to make an ALU! Sure, I could get a schematic from the internet and study it to make my own-but I believe that it defeats the purpose of redstone. I want to build my own completely original thing (of course with help).
Anything else you'd like to mention? (Optional):
The pictures, or picture, well, most of my redstone creations are gone (corrupted worlds, deleted worlds, random servers I forgot about...). So I can't take any pictures of them. All I can give you is my word that I DID build a lot of things in the past. And if I didn't, why would I go through all the trouble of explaining them? (The RAM array thing is my own design :D) I understand if you don't accept me for the reason that I have no proof. I could build some, but it would take an insanely long time and I want to get on the server asap :D I want to start learning now, soon, whatever. Oh, something I forgot to mention in my personality - I'm kinda impatient :3 I hope you accept me!
