Why are you interested in joining this server?:
I've been interested in redstone ever since I first heard about it, and I think that the only reason I haven't made much progress in learning about it is due to the fact that i haven't found a good tutorial on it, or had someone in depth teach me, so a redstone server is a very plausible solution. I've tried to join a different server very much like this one, but their sign up process was not nearly a easy as this one, and I got stuck on it. Recently I have seen some awesome redstone creations and have decided to give it another go. I just Googled minecraft redstone server, and this was one of them. I like a small community, and when I first logged in, it didn't have a lot of people on it. If you guys actually have a large one, it definitely wont steer me away from here, but i certainty would like that. The server seems professional and well run.
Past Redstone Experience:
I started with very simple stuff for about half of a year when I first began playing minecraft (1.7.3); only repeaters and little to no gates. After a while, I saw a video about a redstone calculator, and I wanted to build something like it, but to great surprise, I didn't get very far, even with a tutorial. Then some time later, I looked at it again, and wanted to practice. From that I've gotten a basic understanding of how displays work. I found a tutorial on how to build a redstone clock (a time counting one, not a repeater). I got pretty far on it, almost completing it, but I couldn't get the repeaters to be in sync, so I quit on that as well, BUT from that I've learned how memory cells work and how to build them. Since then, I've built some stuff, but nothing much, and here we are today, still a noob at redstone. :P
Anything else you'd like to mention? (Optional):
The most likely hours I will be on are 4:00-9:00 LA time. Cant wait to get started on learning about redstone. I know most of the gates, and, as I mentioned before, memory cells and piston displays.
