Some of my best redstone creations are: Hipster Door from bottom, I have pistons with blocks pushing them onto another piston with a block 2 above and a double extender pushes them up so there is a 2 high wall coming up from ground, then the double extender coming down and the storage piston takes the block then a triple piston extender grabs the top block. Double Piston Extenders, I have been in a constant battle against people making the worlds most compact double extender and its on and of world record sizes. You almost use a ABBA to put the blocks up and do part of the bringing it back down, but its not quite enough so you have a falling edge monostable going into the last piston. I do lots of 3x3's, I have done 4x4's and a couple of friends and I made a 5x5 door. I know how to bud pistons to make many different creations, 3x3 Lamp door, all you do is make is a closing mech for a regular 3x3, with a lamp as middle block, and the top middle part of the fully closed 3x3 have a detector rail with minecart on it (so the lamp can be powered) , but it cant retract up by it self, so you bring down the first middle bottom block then have a triple piston extender go up, but it needs to be budded so I bud it, lol, and it pushes the top block with the detector rail and minecart back up Tic-Tac-Toe, I had a giant display with O's and X's formed with lamps, a 3x3 button pad with each linked to the correct X-O spot, and I used AND gates to make the win system
