Did you really expect to write how tall you are, is valid information when you are writing personality for a redstone server? Personality means skills, abilities, how your feelings are etc. For isntance, patient, nice, calm, hard-working etc. That's personality. I would not deny the applications by it's lenght but when you are completly answering a question wrong, then I got no other choices.

Personalty should NOT contain: Name, age, where you are from, sport, unecessary hobbies like RC cars or or how you look!

You don't need to write only about your "best" redstone creation, write generell what you know of redstone. Everything is useful to know, what you know. Due teaching you will be much easier, for instance teaching you adders is pretty easy if you know all the gates properly.

I hope you consider re-apply, writing an application here is a great experience for life, due you most likly need to write more of them later in life. Thank you however for applying. Good Luck!

Okey there are a number of reasons we are keeping an application system:

1. It's to prevent griefers.
2. We are limited on good redstoners now, due the amount of visitors, which we were not before. A though application system will give us the people that are most interested in redstone.
3. It's to help us to know what your knownledge is, if we know that you're not capable of making an XOR gate, then we would know, that we need to teach you XOR before an adder.
4. We want to hear where people found us, what their expectations are. How can we make a change in their life, why us etc. putting this in the application will give us the freshest opionion. Because we want people to tell their opionion from first impression.
5. The application system is not a thing you need to do, you're choosing to play here yourself. We are not forcing anyone to apply, they choosed self to apply here. And when our lovly owner Stym, uses his important time and money to run a server. Then I wouldn't complain if he got some demands.
6. We made the application system more difficult, due we needed more members. At that time we really needed more good redstoners, and the only way was to lower the application system. But as we made progress and got more member. They all studied redstone themselves, to become good. And when we made some good builds, more people wanted to join, but when we studied redstone, that was kind of in old days, and people didn't want to do that. Everyone wanted to be helped. So we could only take in a limited number of people. And we are always keeping control to get in new good redstoners, aswell as getting people that are really interested in redstone. The application system is basically keeping everything in balance.

I hope these are all valid reasons for you, there are many people complaining about the application system, but when they got approved, I think most of them feels that it was worth it, atleast I do! One more thing, there are a limited number of redstone servers, you should be thankful that they even exist.
