Why are you interested in joining this server?:
I have been attempting to use redstone on my own for quite some time. I have had lots of experience with actual circuit boards, and while this gives me knowledge of what logic gates are and how they work, it doesn't apply near as much as one would expect in terms of designing redstone creations, although I do find that it seems to apply to the actual layout and organization of wiring. While I think I am advancing at a decent pace, I believe that joining this server would be a great kickstart to getting all the help I need with building my own creations. One major goal of mine is to create a more thorough set of tutorial videos explaining redstone gates and how to build with them. I often refer to videos to get ideas as well as to figure out how to accomplish what I want to do, and I find that these videos, while having good redstone basis, lack a good explanation by the person narrating it. I believe that once I have a greater knowledge of redstone usage that I will be able to think up some very creative ideas on how to use redstone in interesting ways.
Past Redstone Experience:
I have worked on some piston elevators, a subject that I would like to continue working to in order to design a good one for multiplayer servers. My best piston elevator so far is a simple elevator that pushes the player along a series of spiraling stairs. I have built some piston doors, including a completely hidden 3x3 piston door. I have had some experience with BUD switches, in terms of making trap wooden doors, as well as light sensors. My most proud design thus far is a series of light sensors, connected together using different logic gates in order to get better timing for the light sensing, as sometimes BUD switches can be triggered very late, or right when you'd like them too. The BUD switch uses a grass covered dirt block as the dependent block, and the way they are wired together, it lights the entire city when the first one lights up, and when they all light up, the switch changes so that when one of them turns off, all the lights in the city turn off. I am currently working on a HUGE maze (over 2million blocks large), in which I am incorporating lots of redstone trapdoors and flooding rooms throughout it.
Anything else you'd like to mention? (Optional):
Overall, I have had lots of great experiences learning from others during my time as a guest, I would love the ability to build on the server to get more hands on learning and advice in order to further my knowledge and eventually be able to help others. I truly enjoy being on this server and looking at others builds and learning from them.
