Why are you interested in joining this server?:
I love to work with redstone and build creative things. I have tried talking redstone with people on servers before, but no matter what server, I struggle to find people who actually know what I talking about. I would like to produce redstone devices on a server that is full of people who are good at redstone, and have tons of experience.
Current Redstone knowledge:
I'm not a sethbling, but I know quite a bit... I know all of the basics (like what different redstone items such as a repeater, or item hopper, or redstone torche, etc... do and how they work). I know many different redstone latches (warning, I'm and repeating circuit, and RS NOR latch addict) , and how to make most of the redstone circuits that have been invented. I basically either use combinations of redstone circuits and redstone items to make a purposeful machine, or I will use my redstone knowledge to create my own circuits based on what I need to make the contraption.
Past Redstone Experience:
1. One of my best redstone creations in my opinion was a mob trap that only activates at night time. Keep in mind that I built this before the 1.5 update so there were no daylight detectors. Basically what I did was I used the fact that villagers go inside there houses at night to my advantage, and I put pressure plates near the door so that when the villager walks inside, the devise activates. The presser plate was hooked up to an RS NOR latch, that would turn off once the villager walked out of his house and stepped on the pressure plate that was outside of his house. The villager could never go to a different house because I made a small room infront of the house that made it so that in the day he could only sit in the room and then go inside at night. Back to the mob trap; the at night when the trap activated, pistons surrounding my house would open up and there would be a 2 deep moat around my house. The mobs that were trying to get into my house would just walk up and fall into the 2 deep moat, and were pretty much trapped. When the sun rises, the pistons close, and then pistons underneath the mobs opened up and and the mobs would fall in lava. It was pretty effective. 2. I have also created an automatic cow farm. I started by making a room, that had item hoppers on the floor, and one of the walls was a wall of dispensers full of arrows. There was a waterfall of lava in front of the dispensers, causing the dispensers to fire flaming arrows. I would breed cows over and over until I had enough to fill up the whole room, then I would flick a lever connected to the dispensers and the flaming arrow would kill the cows (I keep 2 for breeding in a separate room while I do this. Since the cows died on fire, I drops cooked stake, which then go into the item hoppers and into several chests, the steak in the chests then go through a series of item hoppers, until they finally go into a dispenser, which is constantly hooked up to a repeating redstone circuit. The dispenser was right next to the lever, so it came right to me. 3. I used to play on a server that was basically: pvp, and griefing is allowed. I was tired of getting griefed so I made a redstone device where I can push a button and my whole house will be pushed to the y coordinate 7, to do this I use pistons on made much of my house out of gravel and or sand (no I do not use that to build normal houses) and will be closed up by pistons on the surface so it looks like a normal, untouched place. Basically I would push the button to hide my house when I leave, and using an RS NOR latch, I pushed another button to re-surface my house. Note: In the links part of this application I am unable to provide a screenshot because I have built all of these redstone creations on a computer that was completely destroyed by malware. I apologize for that...

Although I have created some good redstone contraptions in my opinion, I forgot to mention that another reason I would like to join this server, is because I still consider myself somewhat of a noob. So I'm also here to learn more about redstone. Not the statistics of redstone, but how to use redstone better than I currently do. Such as: I have no idea how to make a redstone clock, or how to make some of the more complicated circuits.
