Why are you interested in joining this server?:
I've always been interested in making redstone designs, I've just never really had the know-how to do so, though I've tinkered with some stuff on my own and taught myself a decent bit. I used to be really big into circuitry in Physics, so that applied rather smoothly to redstone.
Current Redstone knowledge:
I've studied all of the logic gates, qualities of redstone, redstone torches and how the current travels (No idea how a redstone comparitor works). I've trifled around with Pulse Limiters, 4 different designs of an RS NOR Latch, and made my own alarm system, but nothing really fancy. I've also done a little tutorial on logic gates.
Past Redstone Experience:
The best thing I've created from my own head was an alarm system. I knew I had to have some way of making sure that the current would stay on once someone hit the tripwire, so I used an RS NOR Latch for that, a very compact 1x2 design of it, actually. That was inverted into an... odd T-Flip Flop design in which there were two torches at the bottom with pistons pushing back and forth. This gave a blinking current. I needed the signal inverted to keep one torch off, so that it could be turned on when someone tripped the wire. And then that was just hooked up vertically to two Jukeboxes above. The alarm can be turned off with a button on the latch. It fits into an.. 8x6 space. Not as compact as I would have liked.
