Why are you interested in joining this server?:
I'll see if I can get it right this time... This server presents itself as a professional, high-quality gaming situation that maximises the proficiency of all those involved in this unique community. I personally feel a strong bond within the workings of redstone contraptions, due to my studies of advanced electronics. This server seems like a great way to see other builders in action, to showcase my own knowledge and of course, have fun doing it. And being the first result in google, it was an obvious choice.
Current Redstone knowledge:
Redstone is virtually limitless in capacity when you know what to do with it. Redstone torches make for a remarkable representation of in-depth digital logic and electromechanical principles. Through a simple application of being able to switch off a constant power source, many, many gadgets that depict actual machines can be carefully constructed, from the all important logic gates to farms, traps and convienience mechanisms, these handy tools go far. Redstone dust is easy, travelling 15 blocks from a power source before this process needs to be "repeated", a task completed by the machine of the same name. I could talk forever about this, but my fingers are sore.
Past Redstone Experience:
As previously stated, the best working contraption to date is a 200x100 2-digit binary decoder (not the smallest, I know) that uses a simple AND gate system to convert to decimal, and a double-inverted torch relay system to convert back into binary for the output to read, but also 2-digit second counters, accurate to thousandths of a second that use compact piston memory cells (which you will find that I have indeed copied) to store the different numerical displays. Other than that, I have built elevators, sorting systems, combination locks and traps.
Anything else you'd like to mention? (Optional):
Love the joke at spawn.
