Why are you interested in joining this server?:
<s>Because I'm boooooored</s>
I just recently began playing Minecraft again, after a few years, and I ran into a pretty serious dilemma: my old servers are all dead and I have nowhere to go. I saw a few images of the content of this server, and it's members seem pretty serious about what they do. I feel it's a great opportunity to sharpen my skills in redstone (And perhaps my social skills while I'm here).
Current Redstone knowledge:
I understand how all the redstone "components" work (torch, comparator, repeater, ect) and I have a firm understanding of how to combine these to create more unique outputs.
Past Redstone Experience:
My only redstone project would be the one I finished just after revisiting Minecraft.
It's a simple password door that uses 3 buttons that must be pressed in the correct order (Supports multiple button presses, it's current setup has a 7 press password). It's divided up into 7 cells stack on top of each-other, the 3 password buttons being connected to all 7. At the start, all cells are in "locked" mode except for the bottom one (reset will return the machine's state to this). If a cell is locked, it will reject any input signals from the 3 password buttons. If the cell is unlocked, it will lock itself, and if the button press was correct, unlock the next cell. If the final cell gets the correct input, it will open a door (or whatever it's connected to).
I'm not sure how optimized it is as I'm new to all this, but it respond faster than the time it takes for the button to go from triggered to released, so I'd say it's pretty efficient.
Anything else you'd like to mention? (Optional):
I sure hope I didn't forget anything important :P
