Why are you interested in joining this server?: 
I am very interested in redstone and nowadays it maybe one of the only reasons left to play minecraft. I think that by joining this server I could expand my knowledge and learn more about redstone and become better with it.
Current Redstone knowledge: 
Hopper logic, seamless piston redstone, know the commands for command blocks, know a few logic gates. Can make password protected areas/locks (with item hopper logic).
Past Redstone Experience: 
A month ago I built a contraption on my friends old server. It was a part of a mostly pvp vanilla team match. In this map there would be 4 sections of the map for each team and each team would have a "locked area". To open this area you would need 4 different items which were named in a anvil. Each item was in a chest near the border of each section so essentially you had to venture into the other 3 sections to get the items. These chests would every 2 minutes refill from a repeater clock so that one person could just take all of it and leave none for others. Once all a team had all 4 items, they could enter it into a hopper in their base. The 4 items would be used as a password and using hopper logic , if all 4 were put into the hopper (any config,any time) then if would let out a redstone signal that would open a seamless 2x2 piston door in the base. This would lead into a enchanting room, anvil room, chest with books, and a "limited" mob farm. The enchanting room was aesthetically pleasing and had a seemingly oak floor. when a person stepped on a pressure plate, then a "circle" bookshelves should pop up (pushed up from a redstone signal from the pressure plate) to enchant. It also had levers at the side so you could limit the amount of levels needed to enchant by using repeater locks. The anvil room was standard but there was a clock that would replace the anvil every 4 minutes with command blocks (repeater clock). The mob farm was limited because ever 30 seconds a set amount of mobs wold spawn and they would be dropped down to 1 hp so the players could kill them.Since there were only 1-4 people on a team this would be enough but not enough to over overpower them with levels.
