Why are you interested in joining this server?:
I'm interested in joining this server because I have been having issues finding a redstone server with a mature playerbase and an active community that isn't full of p***ks (*cough* ORE *cough*). I also feel like only so much knowledge/creativity can be used or discovered when building by one's self.
Current Redstone knowledge:
Basic redstone, torch, repeater, comparator, etc. properties and slab/glowstone properties and uses.
All (Basic) logic gates, such as: OR, NOR, AND, NAND, XOR, XNOR, etc.
Most Flip-Flops, such as: T, JK, D,etc.
How to build a 4-bit ripple-carry adder (Doesn't everyone?), a 2-bit multiplier, a multiplexer, and other various useful(useless?) contraptions.
The basics of pipelining in a CPU, although I have never myself tested it out.
Past Redstone Experience:
I guess the redstone creation I am most proud of at the moment is my 2-bit multiplier mostly because I had to come up with it (The creation, not the logic/basic design) by myself. I have also dabbled around in almost every aspect of a computer (Except for maybe a GPU or a mobo) with redstone, but have primarily stuck with ALU components (Add/Subtract/Multiply/Divide).
Anything else you'd like to mention? (Optional):
Regarding redstone... where to begin? Well, I initially got interested in redstone when I was playing on a pvp server and fell into a really cool player trap using pistons (I died :<). I did some research on the trap and got completely sidetracked with the redstone aspect of the trap and its properties. One thing led to another and I was completely infatuated with how this magical dust called "redstone" worked and the amazing things that could be done with it. After a while, though. life started to pick up the pace again and I had to focus more on homework and studying for finals. Then, one day I was browing youtube and saw a video called "First Ever Dual Core Minecraft CPU!" (link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EaWo68CWWGM). This video got me thinking, and instantly I was completely absorbed with redstone again after a couple-month "dead period" where I basically focused on survival builds and the more achitechtural side of minecraft. I learned about all sorts of uses for redstone and information about binary and how computers were built. Now I'm here, looking around for creative servers that are primarily focused on redstone! (This, of course, is the reader's digest version. If you want a more in-depth version, feel free to contact me however you see fit ^^)
