Why are you interested in joining this server?:
I love redstone, I have been making contraptions for about 2 years since I bought minecraft in 2012. From a damn button on a door to minecart stations, elevators I have always watched a tutorial and then adapted it into my own, making it more compact or convenient. Now I can make my own stuff and in the future, maybe even my own videos!I would love to join a community of redstoners just like me :)
Current Redstone knowledge:
I can make almost everything that doesn't involve command blocks as I normally build stuff that I can use in survival. I haven't looked into computer components but I will soon. I know about logic gates, BUD switches and not just copying, I understand how everything works. With the different degree of power and the ticks and timing on everything. You give me a really complicated redstone creation and I'll be able to tell you how it works. When I first discovered redstone I was amazed, so I started watching videos on it. I think the thing that really got me started was GenerikB's Redstone Academy.
Past Redstone Experience:
When I first started, I copied from videos, but I didn't just do it mindlessly, I took note of what does what and how it works, then as I said, I started adapting the redstone from the videos to make it more compact and convenient. I have made minecart stations where it is 1 destination per 1 block in width with a normal button selector and one where you put an item in a hopper minecart based on where you want to go and I hope to make another based on the new ability to detect an item's rotation in an item frame, I have made a "slime-evator" where you can select upto 11 floors and it will push you up using slime blocks. I have made a hopper clock which alternates upto every 4m 16s and a hopper pulse extender upto either 2m 8s or 4m 16s (can't remember)
