Application 7694

In-game name:
slugdude
Age (Optional):
14
Why are you interested in joining this server?:
I love redstone, I want to build my devices in a community than just in single player.
Current Redstone knowledge:
I am very knowledgeable in redstone, binary and basic CPUs. I have built an 8 bit CPU, although I didn't quite finish it. I know RCA ALUs, as well as CLA and CLE.
Past Redstone Experience:
My 8 bit CPU is surely my highest accomplishment. It had a CLE ALU which had !A, !B, OR, CC, FC, CIN, and !OUT. It had 8 registers, using D-flip flops. The Control Unit was basic, just a few deciders. I never implemented RI mode or built a Programming Counter.
Anything else you'd like to mention? (Optional):
I am a member of the ORE server.
Application status:
Approved

Comments

I typed "a few deciders," instead of "a few decoders," in the past redstone experience section

We recommend all players to write two full lines per question, to avoid having their application being denied because of lack of information. Which is the current reason why we denied you. It should be quite easy for you to write abit about a topic, maybe tell what you want to learn/do/recieve on our server, what you expect, what you can give to the server... etc. there is plenty to write. And we need to know if you're going to be a dedicated member.

Best regards:
Flandyn.

Regarding your response, the only question I could have written more about is "Why are you interested in joining this server?" Here is the extra info:
I quite often get bored, playing in single player, building redstone devices. I also run out of original ideas quickly. With a community to talk to, I feel that theese problems would be no more. I would like to learn how to finish my CPU, as in how to add a programming counter, and a suitable clock, but also how to connect it to other devices. I am open-minded, and would be interested in learning anything new with redstone.

As for the other questions I didn't write two full lines for, the box was too small and I assume that you do not require two line answers for these questions. If there is anything I missed, please tell me.

Where I wrote "programming counter," I meant to write "program counter."
