Why are you interested in joining this server?:
I have been working on redstone computers in single player for a while and have come here looking for ideas and to get feedback on what i have made. I can offer some help with redstone computers and other contraptions to others as well as share any ideas I may come up with.
Current Redstone knowledge:
I would say my knowledge of redstone is advanced, but there is definitely a lot more that I can learn. I know how the basic logic gates work (AND, NAND, OR, NOR, XOR, XNOR), different ways of making a clock, latches and flip flops. I don't quite understand comparators yet and that's one thing I would like to learn more about.
Past Redstone Experience:
I have built several redstone computers. My most advanced computer is 8 bits and is capable of doing addition, subtraction, AND, NAND, OR, NOR, XOR and XNOR. It also has 8 bytes of ram, a random number generator and two user inputs. It wasn't super fast, but it worked. I also made a jukebox thing that used locked repeaters to hold the "notes". Every time the clock pulsed it the signal would move to the next repeater and eventually to the note blocks.
About how often do you play Minecraft?:
6-10 hours per day
Anything else you'd like to mention? (Optional):
I am currently a senior enrolled in an electronics engineering program at my local career center. In my electronics class I have learned about logic gates, computers, robotics and coding to name a few. I have actually shown my redstone computer to my instructor and he was very impressed that i managed to build a working computer using only basic logic gates and that I made it in a video game.
