The main part of the machine (ALU) features a full 8 bit adder. It has all the basic parts that an ALU has including Flood Carry, OR, Invert A, and Invert B. It also features some conditional outputs such as Overflow, Equals Zero, Odd, and Even. The secondary part of the machine (Comparator) is built in and automatically compares the 8 bit values. Its outputs are B > A, A > B, and A = B.
Use the levers at the front to input the values (Blue is A, Red, is B) into the machine. Select which settings you want to use (e.g. Flood Carry, Invert A, etc.) for your ALU. It automatically does everything else and the results can be seen at the back of the machine. To view the results of the comparator, look for the 3 lights with signs at the bottom of the machine. The comparator is also automatic.
