Why are you interested in joining this server?:
I recently got back into redstone after not really dabbling in it for a while and have been having a great time experimenting with various things that pop up in my head. I feel like I have a pretty good understanding of redstone but would like to learn more. One of the things that have always fascinate me are computers and I would like to have a better idea of how they work. I would also like to meet people who share my fascination with everything redstone and get better at taking an existing circuit and optimizing it for size and speed. My main interest is computational redstone.
Current Redstone knowledge:
I feel like I have a good understanding of the mechanics of just about everything redstone. I know how redstone interacts with different blocks. I understand all the logic gates and their real world equivalents (both what they do and how they work). I also Understand the basics of computational redstone (binary encoders and decoders ,adders, subtractors, multipliers, double dabble algorithm). I've mostly made ripple carry adders but I have made CLA (I may not be able to do it from memory but I get the logic behind them). I have a general idea of how ALUs work but have never made my own.
Past Redstone Experience:
Now that I think about it I haven't really finished many big projects. I've made a few calculators. I made a rock, paper scissors game once. I recently finished building a really cool and unique combination lock and am working on a banking system. A couple of my builds are own my YouTube channel which I added to the "online links" section.
About how often do you play Minecraft?:
1-5 hours per week
