Why are you interested in joining this server?:
I want to try to make effective in-game machines that are compact as possible and useful. I am not interested in redstone programming, it seems long and too complex. I also like traps, cool looking machines, maybe I'll build a a redstone house sometime or maybe even a factory.
Current Redstone knowledge:
Logic Gates: AND (both inputs must be on to output) , OR (either input must be on to output), NOT (inverts signal), NAND (neither input can be on to output) , NOR (both switches must not be on at the same time to output) , Timers (doesn't match category, but it's similar; makes a pulse every X amount of redstone ticks) Memory Latches: T-Flip-flop (Piston) RS NOR Latch Basic Blocks: All of them!
Past Redstone Experience:
The best build I have made was a shooting range (archery). You can set different pressure plates at different distances and only have the one you step on activate when getting a bulls-eye on the wooden button. Since this uses a wooden butto this is flawed as you can just keep pressing the plate (probably fixable with minecart). It uses multiple AND gates to tell where you are and when you hit the button. When you hit the button, all AND gates have 1 torch burn out, and the pressure plate your standing on sends a signal to only ONE linked AND gate, activating a dispenser/dropper of your choice.
About how often do you play Minecraft?:
1-5 hours per day

I make big yet simple redstone builds currently, and don't have the experience to expand from the tech I used in the archery range.
