Why are you interested in joining this server?:
I have always wanted a place where I can see what others make and learn from them, also possibly teach others about things they don't know. Following with that, I would like to join this server to test out ideas and make new things to expand my own redstone knowledge. The community seems nice and helpful to people who don't know certain things, so I feel that I would be welcomed when asking questions.
Current Redstone knowledge:
I am not the greatest at redstone, but I know how to make piston doors, clocks, hopper timers, hidden entrances like using a furnace to output signal with a compartor, and many more things. I got involved in redstone when I was doing a survival world with my older brother, his piston doors fascinated me. Being the brother he is, he didn't tell me how it works, so I did a little internet surfing through redstone channels. I went on to make so of my own piston doors (mostly 2x2). Eventually I kept learning more and more, and now I'm here. I want to learn more and expand my knowledge.
Past Redstone Experience:
So the first creation that I remember being soooo proud of was a very large tnt bomber (in a singleplayer world). I did this by having a current sent into repeaters which the signal kept going down a line, but every time it alternated from dust to a repeater, the dust sent a signal into a repeater which powered the tnt, dropping it. I just recently made a 3x3 piston door that charges up. I often watch Mumbo Jumbo and SethBling to learn more about redstone. I often try to create automatic farms, like my automatic sugarcane farm (which uses a budswitch to detect when a certain sugarcane is fully grown, and then it sends a current along to pistons. In earlier times, I had to copy 2x2 piston doors, but that is so easy for me now.
About how often do you play Minecraft?:
11-15 hours per week
