Why are you interested in joining this server?:
I have been playing minecraft for several years now, and I quickly realized that my strength was in redstone. I quickly pulled ahead of my friends and made easy, small, cool, compact redstone creations beyond my friends comprehension, yet still nowhere near what some people have made. I want to become even better at redstone, and to do that, I figured I need to be around more redstone tinkerers. In all honesty, I had no idea there were servers out the this dedicated to redstone, and I was really, really, REALLY excited about finding this server. It seems like alot of people could really help me out, and who knows? Maybe I could even help some other people out too.
Current Redstone knowledge:
I know ALOT about redstone, so this may take a while. Okay. So, first, I know all the basics of redstone (of course). Physics of redstone dust, restone torches, repeaters, dispensers, droppers, pistons (sticky and non), and hoppers. Those are what make up the basics of redstone (to me). I know about comparators, hoppers, slimeblocks (not exactly redstone, but that's what I use them the most for), and the various doors and trapdoors. The real test to join this server, as one would suspect, is to apply those to real use. I can make fully automated monster crushers, LOTS of different types of hidden doors/hidden passageways, I have experimented lots with redstone gates, automatic armor equipper, automatic armor swapper, automatic farms, seamless and compact piston doors, double and triple piston extenders, traps ;) and an elevator (Which I like to call the Failavator, because I thought it failed at first, only that when I took some of the redstone out of another project, it worked seamlessly. It still has that name).
Past Redstone Experience:
Unfortunately, I am not one of those types of people who can toil for weeks on a single redstone game like connect four, as seen on the far side of the visitors plot. I find it impossible to stay focused for so long, and as such, my redstone creations are small, and not very impressive. Still, I hope it's enough to get me onto this awesome server. I'm not too good at the logic thing... but I understand how things work. My blaze crusher had a simple enough task of sending out a signal just long enough to suffocate the blaze to half-a-heart. My double piston extender seemed to take forever to complete, and my triple piston extender even longer. I can easily make piston doors and hidden doors, hide buttons, and I am currently making a compact 3x3 piston door.
