Why are you interested in joining this server?:
I would love to join this server because I love redstone and I want to learn. I am a hard-working kid that would love to be a part of this server. This server could mend me and turn my into a redstone master! Even though i wont spend hour after hour every day on this server learning, I will still benefit alot from this server. Many other redstone servers have very unspecific lessons. But i have heard many refrences about this server and i would love to join. I have seen many of your students creations and to be honest they are amazing! Other students creations from other redstone servers are pretty boring. I can't think of a reason not to come on to this server!
Current Redstone knowledge:
I am not a pro redstoner but I know some good stuff. I know about how redstone can go 15 blocks before it needs a repeater to continue. If you have a redstone signal going into a block, if you have another torch on the block it will turn off. redstone torches power redstone etc. Redstone signals can go past blocks except for glass, glowstone and slabs. My only problems in redstone is that I can't find a way to make compact, complex builds. But I know that a membership in this server will improve my knowledge and soon I'll be able to do all these things!
Past Redstone Experience:
As I said, I havn't found a way to make my complex builds comapct (Not that my builds are too complex). However, i have made some useful creations. I made a XOR gate buy making an OR gate and an AND gate with connected inputs. I took the output from the redstone torch on the AND gate nad made an inverter connected to it. Then, i took this inverted AND gate output, and the OR gate output, and built an AND gate connecting them.
I have also made a half-adder with this XOR gate I built. This is just an XOR gate(See previous paragraph), with connected inputs to an AND gate. The output from the XOR gate is the 1's output and the output from the AND gate is the 2's output. You can hook up the 2's output to another half-adder to make a 2-bit full adder, but i haven't worked on that yet and I don't know how to make it work.
