Milchschokolade
Why are you interested in joining this server?:
I have played on some nice creative servers before. I never was a really good builder, but i have learned alot on how to improve your builds, how to add details, how dynamic lighting improves your build and how satic lighting often makes it look bad. Even if i cant come up with huge detailed buildings, i think i can make things at least be looking okay :)
Past Redstone Experience:
About one year ago i started playing Minecraft (short after the Beta 1.5 release). I started on a small private survival server with some friends of mine. From the beginning i was attracted by redstone and redstone contraptions. I started watching tutorials of basic logic gates and how they can be used. I dont really remember my first redstone build, but i think it was somthing with minecarts. After a while i started creating my own contraptions. I started with small things like door-bells and trolling-machines (fast clapping doors and noteblocks). Lateron, when the Beta 1.7 patch came out i build some elevators and simple semi-automatic farms. Than, one day on Youtube i discovered a video of someone showing a complete redstone calculator. It was amazing! After watching the video i just wanted to know: How? How can you do this? I just wanted to know how this could work since there was just redstone, the same stuff i have build with all day! So i started searching for the answer to my questions and i found serveral videos slowly explaining how computers calculate and i started understanding. I actually dont know what i 've learned by watching videos and reading Wikipedia-articles and what i have learned by simply try out stuff in Minecraft, but than one day i started building my own adding devices at first, than added subtraction, than added here a bit and there a bit, learned more and more and finally build my own ALU's and CPU's in Minecraft. I also read the book "The Element of Computing Systems - Building a Modern Computer from First Principles" by Noam Nisan and Shimon Schocken just because i was interested. For my 16 years i consider myself to know much about those things :)
I don't have any screens of my first works because i accidently deleted all my old screens once, but i have some screens of my newer contraptions:

Anything else you'd like to mention? (Optional):
I have read the rules, i understand why they are there and i agree with them for a nice and funny gameplay.
