Why are you interested in joining this server?:
I'd like a place where I can build redstone circuits freely while gaining or giving knowledge along the way.
Current Redstone knowledge:
Basic logic gates: from On-Off to XNOR. Function of repeaters and comparators. Properties of mechanisms: pistons, powered rails, droppers/dispensers, doors/gates, torches/lamps. And triggers: pressure plates, tripwires, daylight sensors, switches.
Past Redstone Experience:
Piston clocks: exactly what it says on the tin. After first learning about redstone, I expanded on ideas I'd seen. A 2x2 horizontal clock, which powered the consecutive pistons by using the moving stone pushed by the pistons to complete a circuit powered by a redstone torch beneath the stone. Minecart rails: functional systems I built from scratch, simply using detector/powered rails. I used detector rails to trigger both droppers and powered rails. I also learned you need a -lot- of powered rails to bring an unladen minecart up a hill. Sunset-triggered doors and lamps: daylight sensors in conjunction with a NOT gate. I made one 3x2 piston door that closed automatically at night, triggered by the same daylight sensor that turned on redstone lamps at the same time. Mob/player traps: trapdoors and pistons triggered by pressure plates and tripwires. My favorite was probably a 100 block deep pit with lava at the bottom. When the pressure plate triggers were activated, they opened trapdoors. At the same time, they powered pistons that pushed the victim into said pit. It quite satisfied the evil side in me ;)
Anything else you'd like to mention? (Optional):
I prefer to keep my circuits neat and compact, but I am open to more complicated builds, especially while collaborating. I also encountered issues with imgur, and was unable to upload my pictures. I hope that is not an issue.

Approved but...
The application is quite nice, and approved. But I would like to hear more why you wanted to join the server and maybe a bit more about current redstone knownledge. Anyways, congratulation and welcome to the server.
