now its also saying that the server isn't up at all at this point... could it just be that im not able to connect to the server in general?
Makes sure that you are on minecraft version 1.6.4 and that the entered IP address is: beta.redstone-server.info

If your 1.6.4 seems to be bugged, you can remove the appdata/roaming/minecraft/versions/1.6.4 folder and let the game re-download it.
