Why are you interested in joining this server?:
because I love the idea of having your own plot and building whatever redstone you want!!! I dream to stock up on logic gate and computer hardware knowledge to build an MS-DOS computer that you can to a lot of cool stuff with. I love this server's originality, because I have never seen a different redstone server. I can hardly wait to get my own plot, and follow my dreams. :3
Current Redstone knowledge:
I know how to make some basic gates, such as AND, OR, NAND, and NOR. I know, of course, that a redstone torch is actually inverter gate, and that a repeater is a "buffer" gate. I know that a comparator can measure redstone signal strength and then determine two signals' strength with the output being either 1 or 0. I also know how to create a T-flip-flop.
Past Redstone Experience:
I recently build a small 4 byte hard drive in the visitor's plot, and a 5 byte drive in a singleplayer world. I used to own minecraft xbox only, and in there I created a connect four game using sand and gravel, but that was pretty easy. since the hard drive was also a clock, I used a comparator to make it toggleable to reduce lag. the spinning "disk" of the hard drive was just a ring of stone and redstone blocks being pushed around with odd gates (I have know idea what to call them), determining the output. very slow RPM, but it works!
Anything else you'd like to mention? (Optional):
I am so exited! Oh yes, and I have put together an actual real-life computer. I didn't build the parts, though. I just chose which parts were the best to choose from and them added them on. The result was a lovely, 3GHz AMD athlon, with an EVGA GPU, 8GB of RAM, 900GB on the hard drives, an FDD (floppy) drive, and a DvD drive. The OS was my favorite, Ubuntu Linux 14.04 LTS!

I have made a basic connect four with turn lock and a reset button, but it uses sand and gravel :/. I also made a counter that counts to 9.
