my can basically make a pool almost instantly it is one block high you can see and it can well make pool by with sticky pistons and redstone repeaters a lot of them and a observer well a lot of them well first the the redstone repeaters signal the sticky pistons to push the observers and since that signals the observers to make the everything kinda work at once and that causes the floors to move almost all at once and on how they move so so and it allows the water to come threw and again and again and it can be turned off and on if it is turned off the blocks turn into land and when it is turned on the blocks shift in a different direction and makes them go down into the ground and again.
ok this is how you started the mushine first you go over to the lever and when you flick that it will turn the mushine on and you will see the water come into few again and that means it would have turned on and if you want to turn it off just flick the lever again and it will turn off and you will see the blocks coming back again and it will turn back on to ground and the water is one block deep.
