What do you expect to contribute to this server?:

I came to the server in need of assistance, I am new to minecraft and really only play with a group of friends from home, I want to get more into redstone wiring but I am just a novice, While browsing online I came across this server and its popularity made me interested, I hope to be able to initially learn redstone wiring, carefully watching and learning from the other members, afterwards I would like to start contributing physically by using my knowledge gained from the members to build my own constructions, both pure logic and for entertainment, ie parkour courses.

Past Creative Experience:
I haven't build much in minecraft, I purchased the game a couple weeks ago. I have build a few houses, traps, built a few rail systems to travel to and from the houses that my friends and I built. I'm a fan of landscaping and making things symmetrical and mirrored when building houses and towns. I hope that my experience with this server will result in me gaining a great deal of experience, because since I am a new player my current amount of experience is minimal compared to a great deal of others who have been playing since development.

Past Redstone experience:
I have little to no experience, i have made a few upright doors and built myself a hidden floor for access to my mine, and i have messed about with a 1 digit counter using a rotating glass/wool 'drum' to display a count from 0-9 repeating. I yearn to learn more and be able to build much more impressive buildings. A few years ago I took a year of digital electronics classes while working on my BSc in Physics, I have learned a fair bit of digital logic, reguarding gates and hope to use that knowledge to transfer to future redstone creations. Also during the classes we had labs, where I learned not only the application but the importants of labels and neatness, I strive to build in an efficient and orderly manner, building as compact as possible with everything clearly labeled and organized.

Have you read and understand the rules?:
Most Certainly,
1. I would never destory another members creations.
2. I come to be helpful and learn, douchery is a pet peeve.
3. I don't see the logic of hacking on a creation server, or any server, it ruins the game for everyone.
4. This is a game and server for all ages, foul languages has no place here.
5. All caps only make you look silly, and is just aggrivating and fails to get the message across.
6. As a new member I know there is much for me to learn, and it is better to ask and learn, than to be ignorant and not.
7. I plan to be on the creative redstone area, so i see no reason to ask for items to be spawned, when i can do it myself.
8. As an experienced administrator of numerous ventrilo, teamspeak and counterstrike servers, op/mod/admin is given out first when the administrative team is looking for new members, and when this occurs the decision is made logically for people that know and understand the game and are level headed. Asking and/or pleading for these rights has never in my experience resulted in that person gaining anything.
9. Areas that use a great deal of redstone lags the server, as a result, many large repeated creations will bog down the server and result in less than ideal conditions for the other members.
10. I have nothing to advertise except my quest for knowledge, right from the beginning I met some great members and other than my own private server I would only use this server so the only advertisement I would give is to tell my friends about this great server.
