Why are you interested in joining this server?:
I am interested in joining the server because I like building and redstone in all shapes and sizes, meaning that both logical redstone and mechanical redstone are interesting to me. I think I would be a good candidate because I enjoy this kinda stuff, so what I bring to the table is my enthusiasm. this server seems to be better than other creative and redstone servers because most are outdated and not running anymore, and because there is both a creative world and a redstone world on this server, and it is allowed for me to use redstone in my creative builds as a functional part of the build.
Current Redstone knowledge:
currently, the factors that limit my redstone abilities the most are: the fact that my brother's xbox world is on bedrock edition and the standard pulse extenders choose not to work most of the time on bedrock edition (not literally, of course, as personification is a type of figurative language), and that my IQ is only ->slightly<- above average, so I can only do so much. my strengths are: I have a complete understanding on what each individual redstone block/item can do, I understand a binary number system, and I understand logic gates. I just realized that I don't want to make this too long because I don't want you to waste too much of your time reading it.
Past Redstone Experience:
I've made many (not that many though) redstone contraptions in my lifetime, it's hard to pinpoint my best. this is especially true because I'm still learning at an intermediate/beginner-ish level because I never considered studying redstone in depth until more recently. despite my recent climb on the learning curve, I still havent made anything extremely significant, so I'll just name my my most recent. I built a secret base entrance in my brother's survival world, using an item frame, then an observer, then a trail of redstone dust towards the door, a copper bulb, a comparator, and then a basic 1x2 piston door. the problem with that build is that observers send a redstone pulse when they detect a change, and the observer loading in is a change, so the door opens or closes whenever the world loads in. i also tried making a lava chicken shop but the java pulse extenders dont work on bedrock and I don't know how to do it on bedrock edition.
About how often do you play Minecraft?:
11-15 hours per week
Anything else you'd like to mention? (Optional):
as you can probably tell, most of my friends play bedrock edition and not java, which is another factor in why i dont have much good redstone builds. I first became interested in redstone when i was 8 or 9, playing ps3 edition, because it was just interesting to me i guess lol...
I'm looking forward to becoming a member of the server :]
Application status:
Approved
What kind of creations would you like to build on this server?:
I would like to build all kinds of stuff, mostly redstone. for example: secret bases with elaborate entrances, redstone based games/minigames. I would like to try building computers, which I know mattbatwings has a course/series on/about.
