I’m a huge fan of mechanical redstone, specifically slimestone and fast-opening door transitions. I want to join this community because your members consistently push the boundaries of what’s possible with entity processing and sub-tick timing. I’m looking for a space where I can showcase my own designs, get constructive feedback from expert builders, and stay up to date with the latest engine-breaking mechanics.
Current Redstone knowledge:
My current knowledge is centered on block-update mechanics and mechanical redstone. I’m proficient with piston feed tapes, flying machines, and various door circuits (up to 4x4 or 5x5). I understand the fundamentals of signal strength subtraction using comparators and how to utilize observers for compact, one-wide tileable designs. I’m currently experimenting with sub-tick timings and more advanced entity-based redstone.
Past Redstone Experience:
My experience started with basic survival automation—auto-smelters and simple mob farms—but has evolved into more compact, technical engineering. I’ve moved into building multi-stage piston sequences and logic-gated sorting systems. I enjoy the 'debugging' process of redstone, specifically optimizing circuits to be as space-efficient and lag-friendly as possible.
