Dear all SRS members,
Let me first start off by saying that this post is for real. I know that some people make fake "leaving reports", but this is not one of those. This is real.
I have had a great time at SRS - I have learnt a metric ton of information on everything from physics to ALUs and how to treat temperamental staff members (ahem, mentioning no names). Joking aside, it is today that I say goodbye to all my good friends here at the server.
My life has been getting busier and busier, and as I have been getting older Minecraft has become a smaller part of my life continually, until the sad day today where it is non-existent. I am not quitting, I am not leaving in rage, I am most definitely not leaving because I have got bored. What it is is that I have very little time these days, and so this is my last day playing.
I will still come on occasionally, maybe once or twice a year for experimenting and a catch-up, but I cannot help anyone nor teach nor play with them. Today is the first official day of this.
I want to hammer home the point that SRS has been a MASSIVE part of my life. I learnt mostly all about CPUs from here. I love here, it is such a great server. You are so lucky to have found this.
I want to extend a massive thank-you to EVERYONE on this server - from the Learners I gave WorldEdit help to the Admins that slapped, kicked and banned me. Yes, I got banned. Twice.
I know that some of you maybe sad to see me go. It is really sad for me as well, and I don't think you know how much I loved this place. This was my go-to place if I was bored. Thank you for making it such a welcoming environment.
I logged on the other day, and it was such a wave of nostalgia. People like Ecconia and Dutchminer2011 have not changed one bit - they are still the friendly, kind players that they were a year, two years ago.
I wish the server luck as I know that there aren't as many players or donators as there were a year ago. I wish the new Trustees and Mod Juniors luck, and most of all I wish you, the player reading this luck. Whether you are the best of the best or the worst of the worst or anyone inbetween, you still have things to learn. I learnt that.
So my final message to you is, learn. Learn from people that are better, or worse than you. Be kind to everyone else. And please, do NOT press Ecconia's button in his room. Thank you for reading this, I really appreciate it. :D ;( :)
