Hello everybody, but I would like to type to Stym, The allmighty, about making plugins. I would like to try make plugins, that might help. I am a web developer, so I know a little about computers and java and so on. I would just like to make plugins, but I was having trouble doing this, making commands work. I guess you could call this a request. So please accept it.
I'll answer your questions because waiting for Stym to answer might take ages. As I've understood we do not hire programers. A good reason is that we already have two good programers woesh0007 and Stym. And a good web administrator Onlybob. Though if you really want to become a programer for our community. Then you would have to also show redstone experise and act mature to be hired for a moderator position on our server. This can not be done over the night, but would in the best case be done in a few months.
There are three main abilities we look for in a potencal staffmember.
1. Redstone experise, a staff must be able to recognize builds, and be able to judge them by how advanced they are, how to troubleshoot, how to help people, how to teach them, how to develop own creations.
2. Maturity, You need to be able to stop people that complains, argue and else lowers the player experience, how you act around people, how you act in discussions, fights and angry players, how you offer help and how you're bringing the best from each player. Also an understandable english is required.
3. Dedication, you need to be able to help people, have proof you can show to people so they will believe in you, how much time you spend on the server, on projects, what takes to make you give up etc.
We also take other abilities to suggestion, for instance time zone, language skills, programming skills, other server activities and other things that can be considered useful.
